Grieving with Hope
Live long enough and grief will find you.
You lose something or someone, friendships end, betrayals and heartaches pile up, unexpected news hits like a rogue wave. Loss comes to us all. Whether the grief you’re experiencing is brand new or it’s been lingering for years, don’t go through it alone. Reach out to a friend, counselor, pastor, spouse, coach, parent.
I have found that the combination of reaching out to someone, clinging to God and his word, and reading the wise words of others have helped me in times of need.
Stay involved with God and with others.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.
